Teen Earth Day Photography Exhibit


High school students: Are you interested in photography? Come help us to honor Earth Day by submitting your photographs of nature or other environmentally-conscious subjects. You may submit as many entries as you like, but please fill out a separate form for each photograph. All photographs must be mounted on mat board. Please submit all entries by March 30, 2009. Photographs will be displayed on the second floor of the library during the month of April to celebrate Earth Day. Pick up your entry forms at the Adult Services Reference desk or in the Teen Scene.

High School Book Discussion Group Celebrates Black History Month, February 23, 7-8 pm


There is still time to participate in this month's High School Book Discussion Group! Stop by the Circulation Desk today and pick up your copy of Richard Wright's classic Native Son, about a young black man growing up in Chicago under the heavy confines of race relations before the Civil Rights movement.
